What is a School-Family Compact?
A School-Family Compact for Achievement is an agreement that families, students, and teachers develop together. It explains how
families and teachers will work together to make sure all our students reach grade level standards.
This compact is linked to our School Improvement Plan, focused on learning skills, describes how teachers will help students develop skills using high-quality instruction, share strategies that families can use at home, and explain how teachers and families will communicate about student progress.
Jointly Developed
The families, students, and staff of Hodge Elementary developed the School-Family Compact for Achievement. Family input, along with teacher and student feedback, is used to inform revisions of the School-Family Compact.
Additionally, parent survey periods allow families to provide feedback on the Compact, Family Engagement Policy, and School Improvement Plan, and serve as an opportunity for ongoing input. Families are welcome to contribute comments at any time in writing or by visiting the school. Families are
strongly encouraged to volunteer through RAPTOR. If you would like to volunteer, participate,
or observe in a classroom, please call Mrs. Tasha Maxwell at 912-395-5200, email her at Tasha.maxwell@sccpss.com, or visit https://spwww.sccpss.com/schools/hodge
